January 2007: The first pilot project incorporating the 0 series solar field components from the planned NOVATEC BioSol's planned production plant was launched near Lorca in southern Spain. The pilot plant also doubled as test of quality for the projected production plant. The mirrors' optical precision went well beyond our own expectations.

At the start of the new year, the first mass-production machine was commissioned for us to start producing our patented solar field components. In August 2007, the factory will start operating in southern Spain and begin producing the two solar field components: reflectors and receiver elements of the solar steam generator. Production capacity will amount to 220,000 square meters (more than 260,000 square yards) of reflector surface per year. At such capacity, a power plant could generate 17 megawatts annually.
What's more, this factory will create more than 20 new jobs in the promising industry of solar energy.
